Heidi provides guidance to staff and business entity clients in accounting and financial statement preparation, including technical review of client financial statements for compliance with accounting and presentation standards. She executes and supports quality control procedures to ensure the firm operations align with best practices and reporting documents comply with AICPA standards. She also helps with developing and monitoring project processes to provide the client the best possible financial statement related services for small business, from fundamental bookkeeping concepts and accounting issues to audit, review, and compilation. Heidi enjoys understanding each client and their industry-specific operations and requirements and researching and applying problem-solving techniques to address their concerns. She feels each client is more than “just a client” – they are friends, neighbors and the local businesses that drive our economy. Heidi joined the staff at Welgaard in 1998 with prior experience with local CPA firms in Omaha, Nebraska and Sioux City, Iowa.
